Unfair dismissal: Conduct outside of work and reputational risk
The EAT has upheld a Tribunal's decision that a public authority acted fairly in dismissing a public servant for alleged sexual abuse of children even though the alleged conduct had not been proven and did not have a direct relationship with the employee's work.

Information and consultation: £10,000 fine for failure to comply
In the case of Darnton v Bounemouth University the EAT has imposed a penalty of £10,000 on Bournemouth University for its failure to comply with the Information and Consultation of Employees Regulations 2004.
