Reasonable adjustments: Swapping employees’ roles?


The EAT has upheld an employment tribunal's finding that it would have been a reasonable adjustment under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 to swap the roles of a police officer who was not disabled with a police officer who was.

Illegible ET1s may not be rejected by a tribunal


The EAT has concluded that where part of a claim form is illegible, rather than rejecting the claim entirely, a Tribunal should require the Claimant to provide a more reasonable copy within a defined period.
