Redundancy scoring, maternity leave and sex discrimination
An Employment Tribunal has held that an employer discriminated against a male employee on grounds of sex when, during a redundancy selection exercise, it inflated the score of a female colleague to take account of her absence on maternity leave. His dismissal was also held to be unfair.
